End of Year Update

2017 may have had its downsides, but here at MoBo, we have had many small causes to celebrate. We helped over 100 youths fix their own bikes; most of them went away with a new ride, a new helmet, and a new set of skills. We also hosted around 100 Open Shop sessions, including a series specifically for Women, Trans, and Femme identified folk. We had our traditional rides in the Pride Parade, the Northside 4th of July Parade, and of course, multiple outing to Putz’ Dairy Whip. Our parent organization, the Village Green Foundation, broke ground on the new Food Forest, which with time and care will provide hundreds of pounds of fresh produce to be free to all to harvest.

We also have much to look forward to in 2018: keep an eye out for the return of the Winter Workshop series, film screenings, and maybe even a concert in the shop. And don’t forget to stop in, renew your membership, and put your bike up in the repair stand!

One last thing: after 9 years, we finally are able to accept donations online! If you would like to help support cycling in Cincinnati, DIY education, and sustainable gardening, then think about heading over to and making a contribution.

Thanks, and have a great New Year.
